Must Vayechulu be said in a Minyan or by Two Jews together?
Dear Rabbi, I became very confused lately when someone said that “ Vayechulu ” at the Friday night davening needs to be said like aidut , which means that two people should say it at the exact same time; then someone said that it should not be said with two people but really you need to say it with ten like kedusha ; then someone said you can even say it with one – just don’t be mechaven for aidut . Then someone said that that’s why Chassidim stand by “ Vayechulu ” when saying Kiddush. What’s really supposed to be done?
Olive Oil for Shabbat Candles - How Serious of a Custom is it?
Rabbi, My wife lights candles every week with the regular white paraffin ones they sell in the store. She lights one for each of us and one for each of the children. I now heard from someone that in order to have children who love the Torah, you must light another two just from olive oil - but this was never our custom. Is it something that we should accept upon ourselves from now on?
Shkiyah and Bein Hashemashot in halacha
Rabbi, I heard from some people that the Mishna Brura was machmir to paskin like shitat HaGr”a to say that the beginning of Shabbat is from the shkiyah , but that in Europe some people still did work after the shkiyah . So is it possible nowadays that someone shouldn’t hold like the Mishna Brura on this? Also, if the Mishna Brura is right and the truth is like the Gr”a, then how’s it possible that some people can still hold like Rabbenu Tam and daven Mincha so late after the shkiyah ?

Recovering Chamin on Shabbat
Question: On Shabbat Kodesh we put the Chamin a hot plate for the day meal. We usually put two towels on top of the pot top and large cover on top of those so it will stop the heat from escaping and the Chamin will turn out good. My daughter accidentally took off the cover on the towels and one towel as well. Could we have put them back on top?

Melaveh Malka for women
Question: My wife and I always try to be careful to eat Melaveh Malka on Motzei Shabbat. After Havdalah we sit down and wash on the leftover Challah and sing Zemirot. In the winter it is fine because we can push it off and have pizza. In the summer though it has become hard for my wife since she is full from Seudat Shlishit. Do women really have to eat Melaveh Malka?

Shabbat candles - Problem
Hi My question is: Can I light Shabbat candles at any time, until sunset? What should I do in the following incident: (I am from Melbourne, Australia). The shule that I'm going to starts Mincha on erev shabbat(friday night) at 6:00pm. Yet candle lighting is at 7:43pm.And Kabalat-Shabbat is at 6:15pm. WHEN should I light the Shabbat candles??? Should I pray Mincha at home and light candles right after I finish praying Mincha? I can see that there are two times for candle lighting. 1) for bringing shabbat inn early (candle lighiting is 6:39pm-7:00pm or the normal time, at 7:41. But if I light candles right after Mincha I might be too early to light candles?? Please reply as soon as possible and please advice me on what I need to do. Thank you, Shabbat Shalom, Yaakov Daniel
